John McCain's Ignorance

"For much of our history, the world considered the United States a young country. Today, we are the world's oldest constitutional democracy, yet we remain a young nation. We still possess the attributes of youth -- spirit, energy, vitality, and creativity. America will always be young as long as we are looking forward, and leading, to a better world . . ." ~ John McCain

Hey, Senator McCain, if you are going to run for President of the United States, it might be worth you knowing that the U.S. is a constitutional republic, not democracy.

Amen! It's a distinction that few understand now that the public schools have successfully obliterated any knowledge of the Constitution. This ignorance is shared by our politicians, to include both big box party presidential candidates.
