The Washington Post endorsed Obama in a love-fest editorial (what a surprise) writing that he "has the potential to become a great president," this despite his "relatively brief experience in national politics." The Post continues, "The choice is made easy in part by Mr. McCain's disappointing campaign, above all his irresponsible selection of a running mate (Alaska Governor Sarah Palin who has more experience than Obama) who is not ready to be president."
So let me see if I can get this straight. McCain isn't qualified to be President because his VP is inexperienced, but Obama is qualified to be President despite his inexperience.
Is the Washington Post schizophrenic? No, they are just applying liberal logic. You see, there are two sets of rules - one set for the elites, one set for the rest of us.
And then I came across this tit for tat post today: Jesus was an unlicensed carpenter. Hat tip to Southern Appeal.
