Unfortunately, the Ninth and Tenth Amendments to the US Constitution were made inoperative on 9 April, 1865.

Way to go Texas! Rick Perry is a member of the SCV. Texans haven't been to proud of him until now.

By the by my school curriculum requires that we read your book on Lee. Thought you might like to know.

Hello John. I also read recently that Clint Eastwood was an SCV member.

Are you referring to the Maxims book? Where do you go to school?

I am home schooling and using a new curriculum that is very south based. Its called The Christian Gentlemen Training Corps. Your book is first on the reading list followed by Jacksons Book of Maxims, and the Constitution.

Can't wait to read your book!

Sadly, this went grossly under-reported by even the Texas media -- no front page stories in the major dailies nor even a mention in the evening newscasts of the major cities' media. I live close enough to Dallas to get Dallas TV news and nothing.

Dr. P

Google it.

Greg:

I'm not surprised at that. It has been all over the talk circuit and the internet. The MSM is becoming less and less significant as the internet, radio, and cable news are now the driving and dominating force in news.

As always, it is a pleasure to read your posts.

You are absolutely right that MSM is severely lacking since most get news from Internet sources and other outlets. And print and broadcast outlets wonder why they are going broke?!

It's amazing to watch them self-destruct. It's sad, too, as many of the large papers have a great history and were once watchdogs over our liberties. Very strange.
