You can bet this won't be aired by the mainstream media! www.satisfiedsole.com
The left has come unglued over the rise of the Tea Party movement. The only conclusion I can draw from this is that it is effective. Even Bill Clinton has come out of retirement (again) to try and and make some connection any connection between McVeigh and Tea Party supporters. This is of course how the left operates. Throw everything against the wall and see what sticks. Likewise the charge of racism is a bit like slinging manure. You don't have to score a direct hit to tag someone with it. The insinuation is all that is needed. This is why the left shamelessly evokes it so much. It is simply a tool in the toolkit to use when you can't win an argument. After many years of debating leftists, both friends and family, I have finally realized the futility of it all. Facts and objective statistics are of little use against people who are committed to an ideological dogma. Recently I had a conversation with a long time friend whom I had long suspected of being a socialist. Incidentally, he is also an Obama supporter.I'm sure there is no connection. I finally asked him if thought socialism was a good idea, and the response was that it "sounded good on paper." I leaned back in my chair in silent resignation. That is the rub isn't it. Eventually, ideas collide with reality; in this case the reality of human nature. That is why socialism must be forced, often at the end of a gun. I realize the futility of it because we are dealing with people who don't give a rip about the Constitution, our Christian heritage, limited government, or the safeguarding of metaphysical rights. To these post-modern relativists, "Rights" (to the extent we have any) are bestowed on us from an ever loving Government. Some in the Eu topia are tinkering with the idea of granting people the right to a vacation. Not making this up. Leftist in this country love to use Europe as a model, so we know it won't be long before they start screaming for it over here. I guess where going to have to get by as best we can.
I believe most reasonable and open minded folks see through the ad hominem attacks. And the ones who aren't reasonable are simply ideologues who you'll never convince anyway. Socialism, and other false political systems, eventually collapse of their own weight. Of course, they often collapse on everyone.
