Dear Old Dom.,
You look well and manly wearing your tie. Well done! We lead by example.

Thanks. That was from last year. What's with you and ties my friend?

Dear Old dom.,
Just trying to retain some semblance of the manly arts and Western Civilization.
Ever notice how white professors like David Blight etc., never wear ties but black ones like Henry Louis Gates and Cornel West almost always do? One leads by example. General Patton was a great advocate of tie-wearing as a mark of a soldier's character.

Got it. For years, I wore a tie almost every day. I stopped a few years ago, but most days still wear a jacket with dress shirt/khakis. I always wear a tie to church on Sunday morning, to funerals, etc.

I've become somewhat more forgiving on wearing ties as I've gotten older. Probably has something to do with laziness.

A Casino on those grounds is absurd! May God allow the souls of those who died there to return and haunt those who would place such a vile thing on holy ground.
