Of Course Public Schools Aren't Politicized

*Update: New video on this incident:

Finkenbine said that, after she compared her participation in Tea Party rallies with the civil disobedience in which Dr. King participated, Blessman responded to her by saying, “Well, we all know you’re a ‘teabagger.’”
Afterward, Finkenbine recalled, the teacher started laughing and everyone in the class started laughing about Blessman’s use of the derogatory term, prompting the student to think, “Wow! Did she really just say that?”

I would like to say I'm shocked, but I am not, so I cant.

What DOES shock me are those academics and teachers who, despite overwhelming evidence and common knowledge, remain in a state of denial. They are either woefully ignorant or liars.

They were never taught to question what they are told. Because of that, they have bought everything they see on network television. They believe that they are in the majority as liberals and that anyone else are just buffoons. Because of that, they do what they can to quash dissent.

I think what we are dealing with in most cases are simply ideological hacks. They make the most irrational and outlandish arguments(even lying) to maintain their ideological presuppositions. A classic example of this would be the current firestorm over the Arizona immigration bill. Both Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano have both now admitted to NOT having read the bill. Yet both have denounced the bill and even threatened to take legal measures to overturn it.
