What's In The Bag?

Whatever it is, you know it's gotta be good ~ just look at those grease spots coming through! The food police would not be happy.

Reminds me of an old fish fry place in Florida where I used to get a couple dozen corn fritters, and make that my lunch. Never found fritters like that since.

That reminds me of the little bar-b-cue place in Alabama that sat between my work and home. Oh my were those burgers and bar-b-cue sandwiches good!!!!! Could this be from The Log Cabin Barbecue near Elkton?

13B - no, but I'll try that the next time I'm up that way.

I'm starting to believe, more and more, that the health craze is at root another manifestation of our self absorbed and narcissistic culture. Of course, this should not be read as to preclude taking reasonable steps to maintain ones health. It reminds me of a statement that Dr. Thomas Fleming made,(about the same subject) that I have been struggling to commit to memory. It was something to the affect that as human beings we run the risk of turning a reasonably good idea into a ruling passion and from a ruling passion into a religion. It can all be summed up in the statement of "my body is a temple." A temple from which to worship perhaps?

P.S. We have a Five Guys down here in the Old North State. Darn good burgers. However I have to give a slight edge to Cookouts, only because they have Sundrop, and I can get a burger with slaw and chili. I know, I know, it sounds a little weird, but just try it first!
