Making History

Though not the way they'd hoped:

"Thanks to the leadership of President Obama, Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Reid, the Democratic Party is facing the biggest defeat in midterm elections in the past 110 years, perhaps surpassing the modern record of a 74-seat gain set in 1922. They will also lose control of the Senate." ~ Dick Morris

I wish Morris would tone it down a bit. After his predictions, if the Republicans don't do as well as he says, the headlines will be: "Disappointing Results for Republicans." Better to excede expectations than to fall short. 50 seats when you expected 74 is worse than 50 seats when you expected 45.

Chaps - yeah, Morris is kinda "out there" sometimes. We'll see.

I hate to say it, but a Republican sweep will be the BEST thing to happen for the Liberal/Leftist agenda.

Americans are angry. Really angry. They don't want this brazen liberalism that is being forced on them, so they will vote Republican.

If this is anything like 1994, Republicans will proceed to do nothing of lasting value, and will certainly not reverse any major liberal piece of legislation, allowing Liberals to pick up right where they left off when they get back to power.

We're a lot more socialist now than we were in 1993. Few ask how this could have happened.
