On taxes anyway.
This is quite historic and, thus, germane to this blog. After the left has criticized the "Bush tax cuts" for 10 years, the American left's leader has now agreed that these tax cuts do, in fact, provide economic benefits to all Americans. Thus, he has finally admitted that supply side economics ("trickle down"), does work. He now has similar views on taxes as does Rush Limbaugh, former President Bush, and Sarah Palin.
Speaking about the recent deal to keep the Bush tax cuts in place, President Obama made the following observation:
"It [lower taxes] will spur our private sector to create millions of new jobs, and add momentum that our economy badly needs."

Right Josiah. I was, of course, being sarcastic. Obama has obviously not learned ANYTHING from history, i.e.: socialism and statism doesn't work. Funny how even many academic historians haven't learned anything from history either.
