Does George Washington Inspire You?

"Through these stories you’ll not only learn our real history (and how it applies to today), you’ll also see how the media and others have distorted our view of it. It’s ironic that the best-known fact about George Washington—that he chopped down a cherry tree—is a complete lie. It’s even more ironic when you consider that a lie was thought necessary to prove he could not tell one." ~ Amazon

I liked Glen Beck until I found out his views on The Late Unpleasantness. Considering he's a knowledgeable fellow and a friend of the Judge, I can only conclude that he is dishonest in this regard.

13B - my post was a tweak at the anti-AE crowd and those who like to poo-poo "celebratory" history. They all love to hate Beck.

I'm not endorsing the book. I've not read it. It may be great, it may not. Again, just a tweak.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hahaha....Glenn Beck. Three things guaranteed to drive a Socialist nuts; say you like Glenn Beck, you watch Fox News, and hope Sarah Palin runs in 2012. Glenn is OK but he loses me when he gets "weepy-eyed". That's the modern Liberal's "domain". I'm not a big Palin fan either but it sure is fun to watch the precious Progressives who claim to be "oh so tolerant" instantly go apoplectic when you say those three things. You get pure venomous bile and hatred then a free lecture on "how stupid you are" if you say it.
Call it "The Triple Whammy". It never fails.

My "please explain" was meant for Brock.
