you HAVE to make another attempt. We happened to be there the weekend the sailors were buried. Seeing the submarine was inspiring. Knowing that those men embarked on a mission knowing others had already died trying makes me respect them even more. They were the forebears of Naval Special Warfare. Even if they were confederate.
13B - oh I will. My wife and I love Charleston. We try to make it down there every other year or so. Have you ever seen Ted Turner's movie about the Hunley? I thought it was quite good.

This really is SO NEAT! What a feat to be able to preserve so well such an awesome piece of history.
I've been to Charleston twice in the last few years and the museum was always closed when I was there. Maybe this year.

I think I've seen it, but will see if I can find it to watch again. I was just in Charleston taking pictures. Now I have a reason to go back :)
