I Bought Some History . . .

A 1966 Ford F100 Long Bed, 352 V8, 3 on the tree. Let the restoration begin . . .

Hey, you can take all your detectors now.:) We had a '59 and a '60 on the farm and I have a '69 C-10 now and am looking to trade for somethin'.

I found this one on Craigslist. I'm having the cab mounts and floor pans replaced next week. They're in pretty bad shape. The rest of the truck is fairly sound - something I'll be tinkering with for many years I suppose.

Asking price was $2500. I got it for $2000. I still probably paid too much, but the 1966 model is one of the more desireable among collectors. It was the last year for that body style. Original 352 V8 is still strong. The body itself has very little rust.
