Brought to you by an American shoe company - Red Wing - a classic example Americana and American Exceptionalism . . .

Except for the fact that we exceptional Americans tried to destroy Crazy Horse and his people - but yeah - American Execptionalism at its best.

Yeah, I know - evil white American men are the bane of mother earth. You read from the script so very well. Thanks for the comment.

You would not say that if one of your ancestors was with Crazy Horse like mine - now would you Mr. Williams.

I cannot help it that it was white Americans that did this. Is it not true that Crazy Horse and his people were targeted by the government?

You talk a big talk about manliness and southerness but when the shoe is on the other foot things change!

Sad, very sad!

What I find sad is the fact that you immediately see an effort to honor Crazy Horse as an opportunity to moralize about history. I've posted a number of comments and, I believe, a complete post or two about the federal government's war on the American Indian. Chief Joseph is one of my heroes. My wife is of Indian ancestry, but that would not have been her first reaction to this video. She doesn't have a chip on her shoulder.
