Honoring Our Fallen Confederates

In Pennsylvania . . . author Steve French was kind enough to alert me to the following and thought readers might be interested.
On June 14 @ 5 p.m., the Fulton County, Pa. Historical Society will be honoring the memory of two 18th Va. Cavalry troopers who were killed in a skirmish in the streets of McConnellsburg, Pa. (6-29-63). In 1929, two UDC chapters sponsored the construction of a monument to these men, where they are buried, just outside of town.
