Dedicated To College Idiots Everywhere

I was recently reading one of the "smart" (hosted by an academic) Civil War blogs and came across a comment made by an "educator" (God help us), which suggested that unless you're "college educated" you can't be very smart or "intellectual." The commenter is a classic elitist buffoon, but his view is fairly widespread among the self-assured (though often unaccomplished), "educated" among us. So, for that *idiot, as well as others who assume someone who is "college educated" is also intelligent, wise and correct in all their opinions, I dedicate the following. Welcome to the real world you idiot.

*Unlike the educated buffoon who assumes that only those who are college educated possess knowledge, intelligence and learning, I do not assume that everyone who is college educated is, well, need I say it?

I suppose by "educated" the said "educator" means thinking the way your academic overlords want you to think rather than thinking critically for oneself?

It's the sickening arrogance that I can't stand. These types are so self-absorbed. The only critical thinking these types "teach" is that which is critical of perspectives with which they disagree. And they actually believe no one notices. It's quite hilarious to watch them talk to themselves.

If a dog's bark is so insignificant that it fails to frighten the neighborhood cats and he's reduced to trotting out his pedigree to frighten passers-by, it's clear that despite the noise he's not to be taken all that seriously, he's just an old nuisance with time to spare and little to do except wait for young children or a car to cross his path.

Thanks RL. I think they're actually insecure intellectual supremacists.
