Sometimes one must go backward to make progress. One of the most satisfying aspects of last night's historic upset was being able to observe the looks on the faces of the talking heads on PBS. The look on Judy Woodruff's ashen face was priceless. The ruling class elites have suffered an epic humiliation and defeat. I'll have more to say about this after I get some sleep.

God bless President-elect Trump. Our long national nightmare is finally over.

Dear Old Dom.,

Yes, a triumph but American cannot be changed just by a president. Still much work to be done.

Agreed. Thanks for reading and commenting David!

You just might be in store for a dose of "You get what you asked for" in a couple of months...be careful...you will suffer the most first with this new President.

Hello Ralph. Oh I'm under no illusions as to how disappointing politicians can be, believe me. That being said, I'm quite hopeful; especially with the names that are being floated for cabinet positions. Also, Trump seems to be quite serious on following through with most of his campaign promises as his policy positions on his website point out, as well as what's being said publicly by his surrogates. It should be the most interesting (and hopeful) holiday season since 1994.

Say goodbye to Federal Lands with Palin as Interior Sec.

Say goodbye to Sep. of Church and State with Carson as Education Sec.

LOL...as a teacher I would never ever follow a mandate from a young earth creationist.

You sound like the alter universe version of Alex Jones.

"Say goodbye to Federal Lands with Palin as Interior Sec."

The federal govt owns way too much land. And the radicals in the EPA are abusing their power. Time to answer for that.

"as a teacher I would never ever follow a mandate from a young earth creationist."

But you expect creationists to follow mandates to teach something against their faith, right? That's a perfect example of the hypocrisy that got Trump elected. Do keep it up.

Of course, the answer would be to teach both viewpoints, but you Darwinists fear that because you know your theory doesn't stand up to scrutiny. I'm for teaching both.
