Highly Educated & Intolerant

If you peruse many academic Civil War and history related blogs and sites, you will soon be exposed to the narrative that the "educated" and "enlightened" ones in America are more "tolerant", "open-minded", etc., etc. than anyone to the right of Karl Marx. Their lockstep conformity on that false narrative is stunning. But if you read many of these folks' posts (as well as the comments that often follow), you soon discover this notion is quite far from the truth. Wikileaks has recently blown that narrative all to h*** and now Pew Research confirms the same:
“Clinton backers – particularly highly educated ones – have more difficulty respecting Trump supporters than the other way around,” Pew acknowledged in the Nov. 1 report.
The article discussing this Pew report is quite interesting.

Starts from the top down. Going along with her "deplorables" comments there is this, "I am sick and tired of the negative, dark, divisive, dangerous vision and behavior of people who support Donald Trump."

Your continued use of the Alt-Right supporting Breitbart is puzzling to me.

I didn't know you folks on the "Alt-Left would consider sourcing Pew was an "Alt-Right" position. Interesting. Yes, attack the messenger when you can't criticize the message. A sure sign your opponent has already lost the argument. Way to go Ralph.

I didn't question or attack the article or did I even attempt to criticize the message. I just wondered why you continue to read Breitbart knowing it is an Alt-Right supporter. One can now only draw the conclusion that you support the Alt-Right.

Plus the article really only reports on the part of the Pew poll that deals with respect or tolerance for the other parties supporters. And why would Clinton supporters be tolerant of racists who support Trump?

Of course you did. You questioned the source. I reject your premise regarding the "alt-right." The "alt-left" is where all the violence and hate is coming from in this country as the facts clearly show.
